It’s hard to believe Avery was born three months ago today. He is growing up so quickly. Everyday he changes a little bit.
In the last week or so Avery started sleeping 8+ hours at night. The extra sleep for us parents has been very nice!
He’s also much more sturdy than he used to be, and is starting to enjoy spending time in his exersaucer. The first couple times we put him in he wasn’t too interested, but by the third time he was reaching out for the toys. He seems especially interested in the mirror, spinning wheel full of colored balls, and the teething flower.

Twelve weeks have slipped by since Avery made his first appearance. It feels like we’ve almost made it through the first part of boot camp. These days Avery is smiling more, being very interactive, and is generally a happy baby. Sometimes when he’s tired in the evenings he gets a little fussy, but it doesn’t last all evening as it once did. He has gotten better with his hands too. He fits part of his hand into his mouth, and tonight while I was giving him a bottle he held onto the sides with both hands.

It was a busy weekend once again.
On Friday we went out to dinner with Nana + Old Nana. Then on Saturday morning the five of use went to the mall. Lindsey got some clothes for our trip to Texas. I helped choose an early fathers day present (for myself) at Williams and Sonoma.
Earlier today we went to Ikea to pick up some picture frames for the nursery and my office. When we got there the family parking spots (for people with strollers) were all full.  I said a few impolite polite things to a lady taking a family spot sans children.
After shopping, we ate lunch at Chantanee our favorite Thai restaurant. Avery slept while we enjoyed spicy tofu and chicken phad thai. Yummy.
