July

Here’s what we were up to in July. More boating, this time with the Toomey’s.

Layla did a musical theatre camp and performed a routine from Annie.

I helped my parents get their house on the market. Here are a few arial shots I took with our drone.

Back to Bainbridge

Toward the end of July, we went back to Bainbridge Island to stay at the Tyee Outstation and see more of the town. We had a great time, learned more about our boat, and got to go through the big locks this time coming back!

We walked to the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial

On a date!

We went to see a friend from the yacht club who was playing live music with his band.

At the pump out station

We saw our friends from Snoqualmie, the Woods, at the locks. They have three boys who our friends with ours.

Whew! We’re all tied on!

Summer Pullman Visit

In July we, along with Grammy and Papa, went to Pullman to visit Scott and his family. We had a great time being together cooking, talking, eating, playing ping pong and going on walks. We even looked at some houses over there for Grammy and Papa.

One day Jonathan and I took the kids to the water park

4th of July 2023

We enjoyed another Snoqualmie Fourth of July this year. Our small town does a great job with this holiday and we always like spending it at home. The city featured this picture of us from the parade in their social media post.

Everlong Renaming Ceremony

We invited a couple families out with us early in the summer to spend the day in Andrews Bay. It was a perfect day in the sunshine, enjoying good company and letting the kids play in the water. We also held our renaming ceremony for Everlong, which involved pouring a bunch of champagne in the water, renaming the vessel, reciting some verses for Poseidon, and asking for safe passage in his waters.
