We went to Bellingham the first weekend in June. We went to lots of parks, visited the farmer’s market, ate at our favorite restaurants, saw good friends, walked around campus a couple times, and swam in the pool at our hotel (the highlight for the boys).
Jonathan also took some family photos for a couple whose wedding we photographed eight years ago. It was really fun to see them again. They look exactly the same, only now they have four adorable kids. While Jonathan was busy taking pictures, the boys and I toured campus.
Beautiful clouds, but it was very bright out:
This is the bench between Jonathan’s dorm and mine. We spent a fair amount of time here our Freshman year, so I thought it would be fun to get a picture of the boys on it.
Walking around “The Ridge,” discussing college and what they want to study. Avery said history and engineering. Kieron enjoyed watching a student take his garbage out and sort it into the various cans. It hadn’t occurred to me until now that we settled in a place also referred to as “The Ridge.”
Eventually we met back up with Jonathan and walked around some more.
Love this little guy. He brings me flowers every day!

I think these guys had too much to drink…
Back at the hotel, which the boys thought was marvelous! Their favorite part of the weekend was swimming in the hotel pool each day.

The boys counted more than 200 caterpillars that day

We thought it would be so cool to get a picture with each of the boys standing on the tile of the year they were born. This is what we got:
