Layla had her first ballet recital at the end of May. It was an adorable performance and she was so cute it brought tears to my eyes. Layla enjoyed being on stage and said she was disappointed she didn’t get to do a tap number as well like some of the other girls. A girl after my own heart!

Layla was just not feeling in the mood for professional photos. She cried and wouldn’t participate. 
I snapped this while she was pouting outside. It made me so sad. I could tell she was disappointed in herself, but just really didn’t want to do pictures. Sometimes things set us off and we just don’t know why.
