Polar Express

In early December we surprised the kids with a trip to Elbe, WA to take the Polar Express to the North Pole. Well technically, our elf, Jingle, generously brought tickets for us. Silas has been dying to go on a train ride and we had heard lots of good things about this particular one, so we were excited to bring a little Christmas magic to our family. The ride featured all the characters from the movie, including dancing chefs who served hot chocolate and cookies. Then we arrived in the North Pole where we could see small elf houses through the windows. I bet you can’t guess who arrived on the train next?! It was Santa! He visited with all the children and brought the first gift of Christmas, silver bells from his reindeer! The kids were enthralled (well, the little ones were)! But even Avery and Kieron had great things to say about it. All in all, a fun night!

You wear PJ’s on the Polar Express!

Dancing chefs!

Who’s that on board?!

At Taco Time afterward – in our matching Christmas Jammies, no less!
