Here’s what we were up to in August. Layla and I got mani/pedis together.

We also went to visit Grammy and Papa and help with the move.

My friend, Niki, and I went to see Yellowcard play in Seattle. The violinist, Sean, was our neighbor back when we lived on Leitz. It was fun to see him play live. Forgot to get a pic of Niki & me.

First day of School!

This was the first and only year all three boys (technincally four, Jonathan went too)  will go to Boy Scout Camp together. This year it was at Melita Island, in Montana. It looks like they had a blast!

Over our anniversary, we ventured up to San Juan Island to visit Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. It’s the furthest north we got this summer and it didn’t disappoint. We had an incredible time! I wish we’d been able to stay at Roche another night. On the way home we stopped at Fort Flagler. Here are a few arial shots we took with the drone.

We saw Barbenheimer! Jonathan and I took Silas & Layla to Barbie, while Avery and Kieron went to Oppenheimer.

We were hungry, which meant a stop at Dick’s on the way home.

Our friends, Joe & Ashlee, came to  visit during the Boeing Classic, which is a professional golf tournament on the PGA tour. This is our first summer living on the golf course with a  view of the 10th hole, so it was fun having company to share in the fun. Sometimes we observed from the deck, sometimes we walked the course as spectators, and sometimes we hung out at The Club. We had a great weekend with Joe And Ash!
