August

Here’s the rest of what we up to in August:

A sneak peek of Avery’s Senior pics, by Mom

It only took 21 years for us to decide to take my wedding dress out of the box! We decided to let Layla try it on, which she loved!

Okay, I had to try it back on too!

Layla, in her pretty new dress and boots.

Kieron and Silas, preparing to sell some golf balls at the Boeing Classic.

Lake Chelan

At the beginning of August we joined our good friends, the Estes, at Lake Chelan. Their sons are good buddies with Kieron and Silas. We all had a great time!

Daisy & Phoebe, matching dogs!

We rented a pontoon boat one afternoon and took the kids tubing

The guys did some cliff jumping

Boy Scout Camp

Kieron and Silas went to Boy Scout Camp at the end of July. This year it was at Camp Parsons, on the Olympic Peninsula.

Seafair 2024

We finally went to Seafair this year! We took Layla, Avery and his girlfriend, Erika, to Bainbridge Island for a night and then came back early the next day and floated in Union Bay. We weren’t near the log boom, but we still saw plenty of activity and had a ton of fun!

The previous day, bound for Eagle Harbor

Jonathan, Phoebe and I woke up early to head back

At the front of the locks

Going to Lake Washington

We played there all afternoon

Heading back through the cut – it was a little busy and we witnessed a near-boat accident! They were very foolish/lucky!

“Whew! We made it through!”

“Let’s go home!”
