We just got back from the doctors office and we’ve decided to hold off one more day on inducing labor. Originally we were scheduled to go in today, but the birth center didn’t have a room available. If the labor doesn’t start naturally overnight then tomorrow morning we’re at the top of the induction list.
Tonight we’re going to watch American Idol (vote for Blake) and then hopefully get to bed early. Tomorrow could be the big day!

A few of our friends noticed the blog hadn’t been updated on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday morning. Surely we must have had the baby by now?
Nope. No baby. Lindsey is still pregnant.
Next our son has to decide if he wants to be a Pisces or an Aries.

He wasn’t born on pi day, which would have impressed his math teachers.
The Ides of March are almost over, though they officially run through the 16th.
I’m voting for 3/17/2007 so we can forever serve green beer at our son’s birthday parties.

We just got back from the doctor’s office and here’s the 411:

• There is a good chance Lindsey will have the baby sometime between now and Friday.
• The baby will definitely be here by next Monday or Tuesday (41 weeks).

Yesterday was the due date, but despite all the spicy food, long walks, and any other old wives tales that have been deemed safe, our baby still hasn’t made any efforts to come meet his family. Baby, just in case you were wondering, your mom and I finished up the nursery last night so if you were holding off until it was ready….consider it done. In a few minutes we’re off to the doctor’s office for a progress report.
One of Lindsey’s close friends, Jennifer, painted the letters. Last night we put them up and they look great!
