Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at Grammy and Papa’s again this year. The Avery’s came over from Pullman and Nicole came down from WWU. It was great to have the family together again, especially since many of us missed out on being together at Nicole’s high school graduation.

Sophomore XC Season

Avery and his team had a fantastic cross country season. It seemed like they PR’d almost every race, always pushing each other to do their best. It’s so much fun watching them set goals and work to achieve them.

Girls took first in their class, best of the best!

State-bound! The girls team qualified, along with one of the boys, Drew. He chose Avery to be his roommate/wingman in Pasco. The girls finished 7th and Drew came in 30th. Avery hopes it is a preview for the boys team next year.

Avery was awarded the Kelly King (no relation) award, for being the team cheerleader.

Halloween

Halloween looked a little different this year. Avery went to a party the week prior dressed as a pharaoh and hung out with friends on the day of. Kieron and Silas went trick-or-treating with friends, and that left us with just Layla on Halloween. It was a pretty easy night with a lot of coordinating.

The week prior Jonathan and I went to a Halloween party at our friends, the Cormier’s. It was 90’s themed, so I was Cher from Clueless & Jonathan was Kurt Cobain

October

Here’s what we were up to in October:

Avery asked Kate to Homecoming

The dance was a “pink-out” in honor of breast cancer awareness

Jonathan found this on the buy-sell-trade and couldn’t pass it up. Go Eastlake!

Sleepy Yoshi

Mani-pedis with our mini me’s to kickoff Clare’s birthday

This balloon arch was a lot of work! We had to get a picture with it after we made it!

Clare’s party was a Jojo Siwa inspired makeover party. The girls enjoyed getting to play with makeup, but the highlight was the competition where they divided into teams and got to give Ethan and Silas makeovers! The boys were such good sports!

The TRES Wolfathon!

Scouts Court of Honor – Avery and Kieron really raked in the merit badges!

Putting together a jail for the TRES Fall Carnival

Date at Top Golf celebrating Jonathan’s new job at Microsoft!

Gave the house a much needed makeover

Nana took Kieron, Silas and Layla to a kangaroo and wallaby zoo in Arlington. It looks pretty cool! The kids got to get up close with these cuties!

Pumpkin Patch

We enjoyed Muddy Boots Pumpkin Patch so much last year, so we decided to go back. We took a map this time, which made the corn maze SO much easier and faster, and we found all the scarecrows! It was our first time not taking Avery, and I was a little sad he didn’t want to go this year, but I guess it’s just part of growing up. The rest of us had fun, and he got to go with his cross country team the following day.
