October

Here’s what we were up to in October:

Avery asked Kate to Homecoming

The dance was a “pink-out” in honor of breast cancer awareness

Jonathan found this on the buy-sell-trade and couldn’t pass it up. Go Eastlake!

Sleepy Yoshi

Mani-pedis with our mini me’s to kickoff Clare’s birthday

This balloon arch was a lot of work! We had to get a picture with it after we made it!

Clare’s party was a Jojo Siwa inspired makeover party. The girls enjoyed getting to play with makeup, but the highlight was the competition where they divided into teams and got to give Ethan and Silas makeovers! The boys were such good sports!

The TRES Wolfathon!

Scouts Court of Honor – Avery and Kieron really raked in the merit badges!

Putting together a jail for the TRES Fall Carnival

Date at Top Golf celebrating Jonathan’s new job at Microsoft!

Gave the house a much needed makeover

Nana took Kieron, Silas and Layla to a kangaroo and wallaby zoo in Arlington. It looks pretty cool! The kids got to get up close with these cuties!

Pumpkin Patch

We enjoyed Muddy Boots Pumpkin Patch so much last year, so we decided to go back. We took a map this time, which made the corn maze SO much easier and faster, and we found all the scarecrows! It was our first time not taking Avery, and I was a little sad he didn’t want to go this year, but I guess it’s just part of growing up. The rest of us had fun, and he got to go with his cross country team the following day.

Back to School

Aria & Layla

In front of some art projects (his is somewhere behind him)

Silas at his desk in Mrs. Baruah’s 5th grade class

Mrs’ Watson’s 1st grade class

We had some bus stop drama when the district took away our bus route and made our kids catch the bus at the end of an access road in Fall City! Fortunately, they gave us our route back toward the end of October.

Going to a football game – I think they were supposed to dress country for this one

Summer Concerts

One thing we really missed during covid was going to concerts. We went to a few this summer to make up for lost time. Unfortunately, although we got tickets, we never got to see Foo Fighters. RIP, Taylor Hawkins.

We took Layla and Silas to see Odesza. They loved it!

We saw Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes and Thundercat at Lumen Field – amazing show!

Special appearance by Eddie Vedder!

At Michael Buble with Amy and Noah. They have a box through Noah’s work – not a bad way to see a show!

Dave Matthews Band with Jess & Cliff

Dave is an amazing artist, but we’ve decided he’s not really our cup of tea. We like his old popular hits, but most of his stuff is a little too out there for us.
