Thanksgiving

We went to Grammy and Papa’s for Thanksgiving this year. It was nice to spend the holiday with family again. We couldn’t get over how much all the cousins have grown!

Mount Si XC

Avery had a great first season on the Mount Si XC team. He was so excited to end up running Varsity as a Freshman. We were impressed with what a good group of hardworking kids are on the team and how much they pushed each other to do their very best.

This is their home course. It’s a beautiful spot to run! That’s Coach Crane in front yelling at them, “the race is up there!”

Halloween

Here are pictures from this Halloween. We had a captain, a Ghostbuster, the Grim Reaper, Elsa and Baby Yoda this year. Jonathan and I were Westley and Princess Buttercup.

Snoqualmie Ridge puts on a big Halloween event each year, with about a dozen movie scenes spread throughout the neighborhood, including Marvel, Disney Princesses, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Wars.

October

Here’s what we were up to in October:
Layla did a mini cheer camp and cheered at the half-time show of the Homecoming Game.

Pumpkin Patch

Avery’s cross country team went on a team run to Muddy Boots Pumpkin Patch, in Duvall. We’d never been to this one before, but he had such great things to say about the corn maze that we decided to go back as a family. It’s such a cool place, and has a really big, fun corn maze with creative scarecrow scenes to hunt for inside.

Kieron, Silas & Layla went pumpkin diving again this year to find the perfect pumpkins to carve.

Hot chocolate afterwards!
