Horse Riding Lessons

After completing his second horse riding camp Kieron decided he wants to take lessons. We found a great place nearby that teaches English style and he loves it! The instructor even lets Layla hop on the horse for a little ride at the end of each of his practices. Kieron is doing great and learning a lot!

Boys Backpacking Trip

Pullman 2019

In mid-August we drove over the mountains to visit the Avery’s of Pullman. It was the first time we were there over the weekend of the annual Lentil Festival, so we took part in much of the celebrations. We had a great time visiting family, as usual!

July 2019

Here is the rest of what we were up to in July:

  • Hiking and huckleberry picking
  • Avery is getting good at playing Journey
  • He did have a mishap on his bike this summer and ended up with six stitches in his shin
  • Paddleboarding at Rattlesnake Lake
  • Playing Risk
  • Girlfriends!
  • Dinner with The Avery’s
  • Maybe we’ll have a guitar player yet?
  • I actually ordered this shirt for Kieron, but it was way too big. Unfortunately it’s a bit too snug on Jonathan too or you’d be seeing him out in it!
  • Blueberry picking
  • Avery was going a little stir crazy having his movement restricted (no running, biking or swimming until stitches come out). He like it when I gave him push-up or sit-up drills to get some energy out!
  • Beautiful Yoshi
  • Kieron at horse camp. He loves riding!
  • Layla loved this little pony, Snow.
  • We met up with Caroline and her kiddos at a summer community event
  • Layla tripped and skinned her knees on the way home. She was a sad little girl.
  • Playing with my Barbie camper, which is on it’s last lets
