We took a ferry to Bainbridge Island in mid-May. We had no real plan other than to play on the beach, eat yummy food, and take the boys to an old fort and a giant playground located on the island. The time flew by so fast! It’s a good thing that’s all we had on our agenda, because we barely fit it all in before it was time to come back. Next time we may need to make it an overnight trip. It was so much fun!
Silas’ first ferry ride – he was in awe!
Some treasures we found playing on the beach
At Fort Ward, which was originally there to protect the Bremerton Naval Shipyard
At Battle Point Park, which has an amazing playground. The pictures don’t do it justice.
