Here it is, August already – time to post about our Fourth of July! We decided to stay home again and enjoy a nice suburban holiday. We decorated the bikes and joined in the morning neighborhood parade. After that we briefly went to the festival that followed, but the lines to all the blow up bounce houses were super long, and waiting to get in just wasn’t worth it with three kids under five. So home we went and had some nice family time in the back yard. We had a BBQ dinner outside with our friends, the Lotts. And finally we ventured into the cul de sac for some fire works! The kids really got a kick out of them. Overall, it was a fun and successful Fourth!

Sparkler fun

It’s been a while since my last blog post, but for good reason. Our computer has been with the geniuses at the Apple store for the past week (if they’re so smart, why did they forget to give the cord back when they returned our computer)? Anyway, I digress…

We had a (very successful) garage sale a couple of weeks ago. The boys went into business together and opened a lemonade stand
